What are Bare Kind socks made from?
Bare Kind socks are made primarily from soft bamboo fibre, blended with recycled polyamide and elastane to give them the right balance of softness, stretch and durability.
Bamboo fibre is breathable and moisture-wicking, making the socks comfortable for everyday wear.
Why are bamboo socks a good choice for everyday wear?
Bamboo fibre is naturally soft, breathable and moisture-wicking, so it helps keep your feet comfortable throughout the day. It also has naturally antibacterial properties and feels gentle against the skin.
Bare Kind combines these qualities with colourful animal-inspired designs, so your everyday essentials can have a little more personality.
Are Bare Kind socks suitable for sensitive skin?
Bamboo fibre is soft and gentle against the skin, making Bare Kind socks a comfortable option for many people with sensitive skin.
However, everyone's skin is different. If you have a known allergy or specific skin condition, we recommend checking the fibre composition before purchasing.
Are Bare Kind socks suitable for diabetics?
Our current sock design may not be suitable for people with diabetes because the cuff can feel too tight.
If you have diabetes or circulation-related concerns, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional before purchasing.
Do Bare Kind socks support animal conservation?
Yes. Bare Kind donates 10% of profits from every pair of socks towards conservation efforts and charities connected to the animal featured on that pair.
So the animal on your socks isn't just part of the design - your purchase helps support work to protect animals and their habitats.
Orders & Changes
Can I change my order after placing it?
Yes, but please contact us as soon as possible.
You can request changes to your address or size within 60 minutes of placing your order. Once the order has been dispatched, we cannot change the delivery address or redirect the parcel.

I ordered the wrong size. What should I do?
If you notice the mistake within 60 minutes of placing your order, contact us immediately and we will do our best to update the order before it is processed.
If your order has already been dispatched, you may be able to request an exchange provided the socks are unused, unwashed and still have their original labels and packaging.
Can I add another pair of socks to my order?
If you contact us within 60 minutes of placing your order, we can check whether your order can still be updated.
Once your order has entered processing or has been dispatched, we may not be able to make changes.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship across India?
Yes. Bare Kind India ships orders across India.
Standard shipping is free on all orders, with no minimum order value.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For prepaid orders, standard delivery generally takes 5-7 business days from the date of ordering.
COD orders generally take 8-10 business days after successful order confirmation.
Express delivery is also available in selected metro cities and generally takes 1-2 business days.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free across India.
Express shipping is available in selected metro cities and the applicable charge is calculated at checkout.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email and WhatsApp update with your tracking details.
You can use the courier tracking link to follow your package.
Can I change my delivery address after placing my order?
Please contact us within 60 minutes of placing your order if you need to change your delivery address.
Once the order has been dispatched, the address cannot be changed while the parcel is in transit.
What if my parcel is delayed?
Delivery can occasionally take longer for remote locations and some North-East states. These areas may require an additional 2-3 business days.
If your tracking hasn't updated or you believe your order is significantly delayed, contact us at care@barekind.co.in with your order number.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if your parcel arrives damaged or tampered with.

Returns & Exchanges
What is Bare Kind India's return policy?
We offer a 7-day return and exchange window.
To qualify, socks must be unused, unwashed and in their original condition, with the original packaging, labels and "Save the Animal" tags intact.
Can I return socks that I have already worn?
No. For hygiene reasons, worn socks cannot be returned unless the product is defective.
We ask that you check the size and design before wearing the socks if you think you may need an exchange.
Can I exchange my socks for another size?
Yes. If you have ordered the wrong size, you can request an exchange as long as the socks are unused, unwashed and still have their original labels and packaging.
Return shipping for a wrong-size or wrong-design exchange is the customer's responsibility.
What if I received the wrong product?
If you received an incorrect product, please contact us with your order number and photos of what you received.
We will review the issue and arrange the appropriate replacement or resolution.
What if my socks are defective?
If your socks arrive with a manufacturing defect, please contact us with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.
Our team will review the case and help arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution.
Can I return sale or outlet products?
Items purchased during clearance or Outlet sales are final sale and cannot be refunded under the current India return policy.
However, defective or incorrect items may still qualify for a replacement.
Can I exchange a Mystery Bundle?
No. Mystery Bundles contain designs selected specifically as part of the mystery experience, so we cannot offer exchanges simply because you don't like the particular designs received.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your returned product, we will confirm whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Socks & Care
How should I wash my Bare Kind socks?
For the best results, we recommend:
- Wash at 30°C or on a cold wash
- Avoid bleach
- Avoid ironing
- Air dry rather than using a tumble dryer
Gentle washing helps maintain the softness, shape and durability of the bamboo fibres.
Can I put Bare Kind socks in the dryer?
We don't recommend tumble drying your Bare Kind socks.
High heat can affect bamboo fibres and may cause shrinkage or reduce the lifespan of the socks. Air drying is the better option.
Will bamboo socks feel different from regular cotton socks?
Yes. Bamboo fibre tends to have a particularly soft and smooth feel against the skin. It is also breathable and moisture-wicking, which makes it comfortable for everyday wear.

Is Bare Kind packaging plastic-free?
Yes. Bare Kind India currently ships orders using plastic-free, recyclable packaging. Individual pairs are protected using reusable fabric DustBags or compostable packaging.
Where does the money from my purchase go?
